Telegraph: “When the recession started there were all these reports about bankers buying white shirts because no one wanted to stand out,” James Sleater, who founded the firm together with a former Barclays banker, Ian Meiers, two years ago, said. “We wanted to celebrate individuality. We also wanted to have a little bit of fun.”
Mr. Sleater, a former sales trader at BNP Paribas, had to laugh. One of the nominees for the best-dressed banker title is Philippe Guyot, his former boss at BNP who laid him off, he said.
If Mr Sleater’s lucky he might get to suit up his former boss…
